National Centre for Food Technology and Safety (CNTA)

The National Centre for Food Technology and Safety (CNTA) is a private non-profit organisation set up in 1981 at the initiative of the Industrial Association of Canned Vegetables in the Ebro Valley. The main aim of CNTA is to contribute to the development and innovation of the agrifood industries, offering technical support to improve their quality and competitiveness.

CNTA has evolved in accordance to the demands and requirements of the agrifood sector to offer an integrated activity-based model, which makes it possible to cover any technological need. The Centre provides advanced technological services to companies and organisations requiring external support for conducting technical activities, research and development, quality control, food safety as well as training in agrifood-related topics. Hence, CNTA is the technological partner of the agrofood industry.
